Dr. Bhumija Gupta (DDS, MS)

Dr. Bhumija Gupta is a Biological, Restorative and Cosmetic dentist and the owner of BG Dental Wellness and Cosmetic Center. As the only SMART (Safe Mercury and Amalgam Removal Technique) certified dentist in Mendon NY, safe patient care is a top priority. Her knowledge includes dental ozone therapy, biological dental surgery, cosmetic dentistry techniques and Bioclear.

Dr. Gupta is a member of the the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT), Holistic Dental Association (HDA) American Dental Association, NY State Dental Association and 7th District Dental Society. She enjoys challenging her skills and attends continuing education courses yearly to keep herself at the edge of the technology, offering her patients the latest and best treatment options available.

Dr. Gupta is one of the select few dentists in Rochester, NY offering microscopic dentistry, in conjunction with services such as general, cosmetic and restorative dental treatments. Dr. Gupta is a certified Bioclear® treatment provider, and treats Obstructive Sleep Apnea with oral appliances. She is passionate about connecting with her patients on a personal level and developing relationships with each individual. She strives to educate her clients so they understand their diagnosis and can be a part of the plan versus being told what to do.

Dr. Gupta was actively invested in dental research, where she attended multiple international conferences, reviewed research papers for peer-reviewed journals, obtained multiple awards, and published multiple papers in peer-reviewed dental/medical journals. She is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health and achieve a beautiful smile. When people ask her why she enjoys being a dentist, her reply is, "I love to build a personal relationship with my patients and treat the person, not just the tooth. My motto is 'Care, Comfort and Convenience'".

When Dr. Gupta is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her two daughters, and husband.
